YearOne hood clearance
Sorry for another hood clearance question - trying to decide what engine to go with.
Has anyone here put the YearOne 400hp 350 in a 1980-82 Corvette?Will it fit under the stock hood? Did you use a drop-base air cleaner? And what carb did you use?

I have a Edlerbrock performace package 350 with 420hp /420tq in my 78. Summit said it wouldn't fit but it does. The only thing that had to be done was machine down the underneath side of the air cleaner which a drop-base. Other than that no issues.
