Default upper dash pad install

well i got all my interior out of my 73 coupe. upon removal i found that my lower dash pad is cracked in a couple of places, by the way what a pain to remove the guages from the dash then i got my upper dash pad out and found it was broke on one of the edges. previous owner must have taken it out i found the speaker attached by bread twists and just hanging on by one. so my question is how do i get the new upper dash pad in without breaking it also. has anyone replaced a upper dash pad that can give me some advise. thanks

Read the instructions at the link below.

When you get to the part where it tells you how to remove the pad, just reverse it!

When you install the pad in the car insert the driver corner first, then gently move the passenger side toward the pillar. When you get it to touch the pillar, gently push upward in the middle and work the passenger side in the pillar.

Be sure the pad clips go under the front frame! Be sure to install the lower bracket on the pad! And as the instruction sheet says, keep the metal speaker brackets, you’ll need them again.

When reading these instructions the disclaimer is in the wrong place. Read past this, there is another page.
