Brake pedal doesn't return - Tips or Tricks?
In my '68 vert. The pedal comes up, but not all the way to the top and the brake light switch stays engaged.
No way am I pulling that assembly out to replace the springs at the top (under the dash). Any ideas?

You should be able to thread the brake light switch closer to the pedal so it goes out. That will give you time to figure something out.
I can't really think of anything other than replacing the stock return spring.
