Belt alignment
I am finishing up the rebuild and put on the PS pump. Needed to add a 1/8" space to get it aligned with the Crank pulley. Now the Alt belt rubs on the pump.
I did rebuild the pump while I was waiting on parts, and it looks like if I rotate the pump counter clockwise I could get to a machined place on the front cover. The front bolt will clock to the hole, but I cant tell about the rear.
Anybody done/seen this before? hate to tear the pump apart and ruin the seal if the holes wont align or (more than likely :conehead) I did something wrong?
