so what your saying is, since you don't have one, it doesn't make you someone stiriving for knowladge....we pretty much figured that givin your lack of knowladge, and your lack of willingness to learn. All you want to do is bash our cars, then claim you know alot about the cars....
Tryin to call it like I see it;

No Corvette is ugly when you get in, take off the tops/lower top, crank over a great sounding American V8, and go cruising down the street.
I wasn't really interested in the C3's until I sat in one at an auction, and then I had to have one. Now, I crave driving mine, even riding in my buddies, every day. It's addictive, plain and simple. This poor kid doesn't realize beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. Some cars are cleaner, more original, faster, etc, but any owner loves his/her car first above all others. Having said that, MassVette and je68, those are two of my favorite cars I've seen on the forum.
If anyone has an "ugly" C3 they want to get rid of, I'll be glad to help you out.

Smooth move ex-lax. I don't know what you claim to know about vettes, but I hope you learned alot about the owners.
If you ever do finally get to the point in your life when you are able to purchase your own vette, you will find that the rubber bumpers are more affordable and comfortable in most cases. They are all awesome cars!!! :yesnod:

Here's a thought Opie. You could have posted your remarks like this.
I am very young and stupid. I also have a very bad attitude. The kind of attitude that only comes from never getting the holy living crap beaten out of me.
I love all C3 corvettes and am partial to the chrome bumper big block vettes. However I dont own a car, am not old enough to drive, and have never ever worked on one. So my opinion isn't worth the stench of the hole it cam out of.
Could you guys please enlighten me as to some of the major differences in the years between C3 vettes so that I can pull my head out and become educated enough to someday in the next 20 years have a valid opinion.
Or Option B
Go to a corvette rally and go up to the biggest guy there standing next to a C3 with rubber bumpers and a small block and tell him that his car sucks. The immediate and violent events that follow will educate you more than this forum ever could. :smash:

Seriously though, if you want to make friends, bring brownies to the party, not square little chunks of poopie with nuts in them.

I see on your 14th post you come out flaming .YOU are entitled to your opinion but most people on this forum are here to help other owners who truly appreciate the sweat time money and sacrifice it takes to drive a vet .If this is an indication of your contributions to the forum why not make it your last.

OK garagedweller2 ready for the test? Remember you have no life lines left.
What is the difference between a mouse and a rat?
Get this correct and we'll move on to the next question.

OK, maybe question number one was to hard, so on to question number 2.
(I hope that it's not past his bedtime)
2. Does a corvette have a driveshaft or a halfshaft?
Remember no life lines.

67Heaven,
Very well said!
By the way, I got so many compliments while driving my chrome bumpered Z06 today, I think I may go into some kind of conversion operation! As good an investment as any dot.com.
