While running a WOT I was experiencing a surge. I was told this was probably due to a lean setting of the carb. I plan to send it off to Lars if he stays in the "business" after his recovery. But this weekend while on a cruise I accelerated onto the freeway and experienced a feeling of just plain running out of fuel. I took my foot out of it and it would recover. Any ideas, maybe bad float setting????
Stock L-48 q jet
Get a rebuild kit, take your time and follow the instructions in the paper. I did this with a used q-jet I got from e-bay. Maybe it's not as good as the master could have done but it fires right up, no bogs or dead spots, runs strong and gets me to/from work every day.
