Which GUN?
Which spray gun will work best for Lac. paint?
Color War Bonnet.74 Coupe.
Binks Model 7? or HVLP w/ 1.4 nozzle ?
Have never used a HVLP gun before.

I know it sounds bad, but I did my best shooting with a Harbor Freight gun that cost me $15. I even had an IR gun that cost me over $200 and the HB gun did better.
I spent a lot of time tuning both, getting my mixtures and patterns just right, and the HB gun really blew me away with how easy my first paint job turned out.

Way back when, all I ever used was a Binks #7 or even better a #69 for lacquer. The # 7 lays down a lot more paint faster.
Lots of tips available for both.
Don't reall care for the HVLP, but that's just me.
