Anybody have a picture of one for a 78? My switch is intact with one orange wire going to it, the other wire going to the center lead in the switch is MIA.
I havent located the light yet, its MIA also. I have the dash out and I'm redoing some of the wiring, I have about 8 burnt wires on that end of the dash and about 14 electrical diagrams and none of them are showing me what I need to know.
Or I can do this by the process of elimination if someone could tell me the color of the wires going to the glove box light and the switch!
HELP!!

Is that the glove box light switch just to the end of your little finger? Is it busted up? The light bulb goes into the end of it by your other finger.
I'll post a pic of it if you still need it.
Wires are black and orange, with the black ground going to the connector that contacts the side of the bulb.
not yet. Bubba had hacked up the ac wiring harness and it had burned to a crisp also, along with his rewiring the starter harness. I have replaced all of those and checked everything else. This is the only area left where I can find evidence. I am still checking the wires back.
