Hi, Carb trouble on 69 Big Block. When going into a turn that might have a stop sign at the end, I push in the clutch and the engine wants to die. On the straight away push the clutch and stop hard no idle change. If I am going thru a tight corner and staying on the gas it is fine. I have tried to re-adjust the float height so fuel comes out the sight hole a little to just about pouring out ( not to safe, have to move quickly!!!) still wants to die. Don't know how to fix please help. Thanks Jim C.

How high is your idle set? It couldnt be the ps pump pulling the RPM down could it? This is a strange one, I'll have to watch to see what other people say. Welcome to the forum!!

Welcome to the forum.
You have an odd problem. I'm guessing it's a stock Q-jet for your car?
I suggest you PM Lars. He's the resident expert, in all meanings of that word, for may things including the carbs these cars came with.
Here is his PM address. Send him a message, linking to the thread, and maybe he'll be able to help.
