speedo gauges looks ,,cool if they were in a differant color or a smaller letters , center conceal arrangement ,,pure custom toch ,go ahead man good job
seats are they from chevy Comoros ?? or also custom fabrication
The center console is an MDF frame wrapped in fiberglass, and vinyl wrapped. It still needs tweaking for a perfect fit. I am going to look into other materials for the speedo/tach plate, it's too thick to where I can't get the lens on over the guages. (they stick out of the platform where stock guages were flush.) Seats are corbeaus. you can get the kit from speed direct for any C3.. However in an 82 The drivers seat frame needs modification to fit properly. Not sure about other year models. I plan to add a shark bar and 4 point harnesses. (Not street legal in TX without seat belts I am afraid)
I don't think your gonna need a 10,000 RPM Tach in a 'Vette, and i personally could live w/o the carbon fiber base meterial on the gauges, would have gome flat black- air craft style, but I still think it looks cooler then sheet. Nice
I don't think AutoMeter makes anything less than a 10K tach in a 5" size.

From the shape of the upper dash, I believe we're looking at a 78-82, which wouldn't have the sunken speedo and tach.

The center console looks awesome. I've been contemplating something very similar to that for the gauge pod. Do you have any pics of the buildup?
Definitely like the center console, that's exactly what i've been looking for for some time now, much better than a single Din, they look to cheap to me...
I love the gauges...I also love the DVD look. Everything about the center console is great! I would agree with others about the tach speedo housing. I would look to round it out a bit instead of the squared off look & try to sink the whole things back just a bit. Just an opinion though...I love what you have done so far!
i do like the center console. here are some pics of my interior as it is evolving. this is not a build for a d/d but some of the ideas and materials can be used to make something that will be d/d friendly. here is a link to the tread that gives some of the how to that has gone into it. hope you find some info that could be of use in your design. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...many-pics.html
