Default Carpet replacement tips

My carpets are supposed to be black but are many shades or black and gray not to mention the holes and tears. Ripping them out ain't a big deal. I reckon the seats will come out easy enuff but what about the console stuff? If any of you cowboys have done this job I sure would like to hear about what I need to watch out for. Thanks friend.

Once you have the seats out it isnt bad. When you remove your old carpet you can see how much extra you need to leave. For example you need to leave extra for the seal plates to cover, and an inch or two to slide up under the console. Leave it a bit longer than you think you will need!! It seems to shrink after you cut it just right!! Set it into place and start trimming a little at a time. I didnt glue mine down so I cant help you if you plan to. Someone else will chime in that knows more than me. Good luck, welcome to the forum!
