78 Transmission Noise
My 1978 vette runs like a top. However, when the automatic transmission is in first gear and the car picks up a little speed I hear a clicking noise. This noise sounds like it is coming from under the hood or front half of the car. The clicking gets quicker as the RPM increases. When the gear changes to 2nd the noise goes away. I just changed the trans fluid and filter to no avail. Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.
