Vibration Gone? I hope so

Last year, I had the trans out, found that the POS pilot bearing had an outer sleeve that came off. Put in a bushing and figured that was the problem. Nope.
This year, I took the trans out again and took the flywheel/pressure plate assembly to a shop that specializes in balancing. When I dropped it off, the guy there put it on one of their balancers and spun it up. 70-80 inch-grams out of balance (i.e. at one inch from center, it would require 70 grams -2.5 ounces- to balance). The guy said it was WAY off in terms of balancing.
Got it back a few days ago. Don't have it fully in yet. The flywheel had only 2 balance holes drilled into it. He added 6 or 7 more. Inch-grams don't mean a whole lot to me, but those holes sure do.
It's GOTTA be better.
Cost: $75. Bargain if it helps
There is actually a very good moral in this story, that for perfect engine operation, everything from front to back should be balanced. There is even a shop here in my town that will balance drive shafts.
I hope that fixed your problem.
