Electric choke
I have a Holly 750 carb with a manuel choke on a 383. It's a pain when starting the car for the first time after several days of not running. I am thinking of switching to an electric choke??? Anybody have any experience with this change over? Do the electric ones work any better than tha manuel ones, or am I just wasting time??

I converted My Q-Jet from a hot air choke to electric. It was very easy to do and my car starts right up on the first try just about every time after sitting for a week or so. The hot air system was a pain and I couldn't get it adjusted properly so I had to crank and pump the thing to death to get it started. Now I just push the pedal down about a quarter of the way once, turn the key, and it fires right up.
