First Drive
Last august I bought my first Vette, an 80' with the L48 stock as can be. I got it just in time to put it away for winter. I got it out in early march got it running and fixed a few problems, with the help of you guys of course. Anyways, I finally got it inspected and legal today and took it cruising all over. I must say I its the greatest feeling I have ever experienced. I had so much fun and I can't help but think about it nonstop. I just turned 20 and I know I'm lucky to have that car but at the same time its what I wanted and I worked my butt off for it and I paid for it with my own money. So I just wanted to thank all of you for helping me get here and asking questions and answering them. I look forward to much more and I'm sure I'll need your help soon. Thanks!

Man I wish I could find one. You are so lucky. I am in the same boat as you. 20 years old and still in college but worked my butt off to make money and it was all for a vette but I just can't find the right one.

Ya I got lucky in that sense. I got it for under 3k and between buying it and fixing stuff I have around 4k in it. All I can say is keep saving and keep your eyes open and you'll find one when its time.
