Default Looking for HEI distributor's 3-way connector

Hi,

I have an Accel Super Coil (model 140005) atop an HEI distributor.

The 3-way plug on the red yellow and black cable from the dizzy to the coil has a clasp on each side of it that grips onto raised tabs and keep the plug securely anchored into the dizzy.

In my case one of those clasps has broken off.

I want to purchase a new plug, but have been unable to find that specific item by Googling. I have found a few adapter cables with that type of plug on the end of them (and going for $25 and up!), but I just want the plug case with 3 new uncrimped brass spades to that I can cut off the old plug and fit the new one.

Does anybody know who makes that style of connector? Ther are many brands of such HEI distributors on market so I figure they must all be getting their plugs from a reasonably well known plug and socket manufacturer.

By way of illustration, it's the plug shown in this picture (but I don't want to have to buy a whole replacement module -- just the plug):

You're not really in any danger of the plug popping off of the cap. Unless you're wanting to swap it for visual reasons I'd just let it be. One of mine has been broken since 1999 with no problems.

Mine works its way loose and provides a steathy but very inconvenient ignition inhibitor. At the moment it's held in place with a cable tie and looks dreadful.

Thankfully, Scott has identified the very part (and given us all a great resource for other bits and pieces, too.)

Check Ron Francis wiring too, they carry a wide variety of connectors.

Just a postscript to this.

Turns out that Kendricks are HOPELESS. No idea of customer service at all. I e-mailed and made two long distance phone calls and got NO SERVICE.

However, I'm happy to say that Ty Hollister at Peters de Laet - Winzer Corp (OEM Division for Packard Electric & Delphi) of Dallas TX was more than helpful and sent me the exact part (Part # is 8911755).

Here are his details:
