Instead of making a new thread heres another questions....
I have a yellow and orange wire...they run together...and both go past the E brake pictured and disappear now the orange one exits the other way up into the bottom left of the dash and the yellow one ends as pictured
And this is the last one....
its a clip with a black wire that going into the wiring bundle right below it....its located right next to the clip that going into the bottom of the cigarette lighter..\
What year car? Auto or stick? It is very difficult to tell from the information provided.
It looks like Bubba has gotten into your wiring harness. I would suggest you get a wiring diagram. Dr.Rebuild has an excellent one with pictures of all the correct connectors. It will be the best $12 you can spend.

Hey man, I hadnt forgot about you. Took some pics yesterday. The wire in this picture is for the rear window defroster switch.
there should be a relay inside that aluminum housing that is empty in your picture that that plugs into. As soon as I download the cam I will post some pics

what do they do?
the yellow and orange wires go to your power antenna relay. I have no clue where they hook into as mine are cut also. I can apply power to the yellow and the antenna goes up or down, dont remember. I think they will hook to the stereo when I get around to putting that in.
Here are the pics, sorry I didnt put them up yesterday, I got into the beer/Dynamat/Reflectix thing. Then redid all my heater and ac vacuum lines. Only drilled one hole in my finger!
If you need something more specific let me know. I will have it all back together on Wednesday and hopefully I will be able to answer any specific questions.....
Prominus, apologies for a bit of a hijack/sidetrack here.
L82Shark, am assuming you already have figured this out and have a plan, but when I did my Reflectix into the center console area, I took some bicycle inner-tube and made a rubber non-conductive layer on top of the Reflectix just to ensure none of those wires shorted out via the insulation.
/hijack off
I got to studying that last night, thinking the same thing. I have a boatload of wire loom (plastic tubing) from another project and I am thinking about encasing them in that once I get everything working. I had meant to bring that problem up to see what others had done but I forgot about it. Glad you brought it up!

yeah my little metal box is empty? what is it supposed to be for?
I am at work today and dont have my book with me but I think its for the either the power window or power door lock relay. The one clipped in front of the shifter that looks like a turn signal flasher is for the alarm.

the AIM has the best illustrations in it. It helps more than the service manual on things like this. Several threads on here about where to get them from but most all of them are the same. I got mine off of ebay. Dont get it confused with the parts and illustration catalog from GM, that gives you all the parts numbers and some drawings, you can download it for free if you dont have it.
