Default removal/ disconnect parking brake

I have put new wheels on ym 1972 coupe and have gone with the stock C5 thinspokes. I placed a 2.5" wheel adapter on and it worked great for the front wheels but the back were just too close for comfort with the parking brake bracket and wire. SO ... I cut the brackets off and ground down the welds and will now be moving the brackets to the top of the trailing arm. Does anyone have some pics and step instructions on the disassembly of the parking brake wire where it hooks into the wheel assembly? I need to take it off to reroute it but cant really even see it. Looked through my AIM and am still lost... any help would be great. Thanks again everyone.

If You Follow The Cable To The End, A Ball Stop Engages Pawl Arm In A Open Loop. Push Pawl Arm Forward And Slide Ball Out. You May Have To Undo Park Cable Retaining Clip If There Isnt Enough Slack. Good Luck
