Default Need some help

Hi all,new to the forum.I just need some advice on this vette. The seller tells me that the engine puts out 360 ft. lbs .I asked about the hp and he told me about 300 coming out of an L48.I checked it and i havent seen anywhere that a 72' could have an L48 or any 72' capable of putting out 300hp.Am i wrong? Also are vettes with-out power steering more sought after? Thanks all

Welcome to the Forum. There was no L48 engine option for the '72, nor was there one with 300 hp. Also, I've never heard of any Vette being worth more w/o power steering. If this is what the guy is telling you, I'd look elsewhere. good luck.

What is he asking? Get some pics and post them here. If you are interested in the car, get someone knowledgeable about Vettes to look at it with you.

You need some pics of the frame and underside of the car also. A lot of Vettes look great with new interiors and paint but there could be some real horror stories lurking underneath.

looking at the vin, on the ebay listing, fifth digit is a K, base engine 350 c.i. 200 hp. 2346 cars were painted that color. just fyi.
listing says it has 22000 kilo. thats 13640 miles. maybe on new engine.?
but exxon service tag says 99261 ??? good luck.
