Q-jet choke issue?
I rebuilt my Q-jet following the Cliff Ruggles book. I am happy with the performance from idle to WOT. It has no hesitation and starts great. I do have one issue. The electric choke seems to work when I start but goes off too soon (as I am backing out the garage). Any suggestions? I learned a lot doing the carb but not enough and I don't want to mess something good up trying to fix this. Is this an adjustment of the choke pull off? The car is a 1980 that I have owned for 24 years. I put a zz4 in about 2 years ago. by the way, I also had a Demon on for a little while (too rich) and an Edlebrock 600 (a little hesitation). Thanks!
