I bought an eagle rotating assembly new oil pump and new balancer. The question i have is what cam to run i plan on using the Edelbrock performer heads with 170 cc intake runners and 70 cc combustion chambers. I am shooting for about 400 horse and 400 ft/lbs of torque. I dont want to go to a stall converter but if i have to i have to i guess any advice is appreciated.

There isn't enough information provided for anyone to make any recommendations. Is this a 350 engine or 383? What piston P/N came with this kit, or what is the advertised compression with 70cc heads.
IMHO, 400/400 from a 350 with no added stall is not going to happen.
What intake and carb are you going to use?

383 ci, 9.8 to 1 comp.,750 cfm carb. and a mild cam (210-220 duration at .050) and 440-460 lift) and you have your numbers!
