For the past 4 or 5 times ive gone to Englishtown ive beat my previous best...
This time I tapped out a 12.599@108.33
R/T - .267 (thats horrible!)
60' - 1.85
330 - 5.201
1/8 - 8.060 @ 85.89
1000 - 10.521
1/4 - 12.599 @ 108.33
There were no temp/humidity readings on the slips, but id say it was around 60-65deg.
I only got that one good run in though... other 3 passes I missed 2nd gear each time! I dont know if its me just being nervous after not being out there in almost a year or if theres soemthing going on with my Tremec TKO... are there any known issues with shifting that tranny? Ive never had problems before...
That and then on one of my burnouts my buddies told me only one wheel was spinning... not what I wanted to hear
Might try draining fluid and replacing with the additive. Though I did that already, it might have been about 5 years and 100 passes ago?
That was without the nitrous...
From day one with my car 13.0 was my goal as well... Its a very very respectable time for a C3 IMO...
But since breaking that ive just been trying to bang off a tenth here and there... now I wanna hit 12.50

I've never raced-at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, but many of the better tracks have L.E.D message-boards on the back-side of the tower, facing the staging-lanes, that continually scroll the weather-data:
I believe Maple Grove Raceway had those over 15 years ago.
Also, savvy racers in the pits may have their-own weather-recording equipment, and they may allow you to record from their devices.

Very Nice...Great #ers.
I Want t be able to run in the 12's soon..
I have a stock L48 and my beast was a 15.422. Im getting ready to either go with a ZZ4 stroke mine to a 383... But i want to be able to drive it when I want so i want auto with OD.
Congrats!!! I think that is the lowest ET I have ever seen with ZZ4 & C3 combo. Do you know what your rwhp is?
Well id like to think I got the fastest c3 zz4, but gotta keep in mind I also have the GM HOTCAM and a different intake manifold... tremec tko trans (3.27:1 first gear) and 3.55s
I had it dyno'd a while ago, but I dont remember if it was with the HOTCAM or any other changes... but it was 306 RWHP and that was with a Muncie M21
I started at 15.50's and my new personal best is 12.10 - 1/4, 7.51 - 1/8. I am now hungry for an 11 sec pass. Maybe with a tail wind and a little more spray....

Clint, what are your short/60'-times like, and what rear-tires are you running?
I've always heard the Dana-44 was very weak-kneed, and prone to breaking under anything approaching serious HP and traction.
Congrats on the new best numbers.
What rear gear ratio are you running?
3.55 rear gears... with 28" tall rear tires... I may try some 26" tall tires when I replace these drag radial just to get some more rear gear out of it.

Glenn,
My 60 foots are mostly low 1.7s with a 1.69 thrown in occasionally. I am running BFG drag radials, my 3rd choice after no availabilty of M/Ts or Nittos, but man do they stick! I am running my stock rear end gears (273s I guess) my t700 R4 has a been rebuilt by Hobart's Performance transmissions in Midlothian Texas and I have a 2600 stall TC. I changed out all my U-joints with solids.
I have Jacobs progressive nitrous controller and I start the spray at ~2600 RPM and I'm all on by 3800which softens the blow. My LM1 keeps and eye on AF mixture, running about 11.5/1 and I download data after every event. Spark retard is set to back 4 degrees off from a 36 full advance when the juice hits. Wheee!

That's much-quicker than I'd been advised to shoot-for..... the friend who did the 3.73-swap for me (my original gears were 2.87, not 2.72s..... have been told/heard that cars equipped with N90 wheels and 255/60R15s had the deeper gear-set, while Ralley-wheel/225/70R15-cars came with 2.72-gears, but even that can't be confirmed) warned me against using a sticky street-tire with the stock Cross-Fire, little-less the power you are now making:
Art & Dan Dorsett at VanSteel have about similar confidence (or lack-of-same) in the Dana-44
Great time chris,we need to get together,i started taking mine apart, but had to stop till new garage is built.
Ya man... definitely! A lot of the time im only a few miles up in Barnegat hanging out on Tuesdays and what not... lemme know if ya need a hand with the car or wanna grab a drink
