brake booster

Ok, how would you describe the inside of the brake booster? I never took one apart. How does it interface with the master cylinder reservoir? :confused:

Its a simple device. Its just a vacuum diaphram that sits between the brake pedal and the master cylinder plunger which lessens the amount of driver effort or pressure to compress the plunger.
