spal relay

does anyone know the pn for the spal fan relay or boush equivalent. spal is not answering I need an extra to hookup to ame fan run when AC comes on and would like to get it before I stick in engine today thanks

I would think that you should be able to use any 30 amp relay available at any auto parts store. I haven't looked at the SPAL wiring diagram for quite a while but I think the AC fan wire is just a trigger for the relay. Don't forget to put a fuse in the power line also.

Why use a second relay? Just tap into the compressor power wire and splice that into the trigger wire going into the relay. Or am I misunderstanding what you are trying to accomplish?

Would that make the compressor engage when the engine temp gets hi enough to turn on the fan?

Nope, that's how mine is wired and it works as intended.

Thanks everyone it is just a 30 amp relay and they are avaiable but the spal one has the wires hooked in and is sealed it jsut makes for a nicer looking installation and I finally got hold of them and can one through mail

I used a 30 amp relay triggered by the a/c compressor lead to complete the ground from my fan. So, the fan runs anytime I turn on the a/c and the install looks good.
