did you do a before and after measurement of the lip of your wheel well to the ground on the centerline of your front wheel?
On the front I have always setup shocks with more compression dampening than rebound. middle settings would be 50/50. I like 60/40 or even 70/30
You want to resist compression upon hitting a bump and you do want the wheel to get back down to pavement as soon as you can.
The rear is very much driving style. Do you want it to squat and have max weight x-fer for a drag racing take off or do you like to stay more level and spin the rear tires.
The softer the compression makes for a smoother ride
When I had the single adjustables, I started at 5 in the front and 4 in the rear.
I have the single adjustable QA1, if i well remember they have 10 steps from 1 to 10, am i right? dan, your 5 and 4 front/rear are you counting from right to lef or viceversa, could sound a dumb question but i need to understand, thanks.
Since i bought these shoks i've settled them near to max compression, they're very stable on smooth tarmac but do not 'forgive' anything around the limit on fast bends making driving somehow pretty dangerous.
