Default Transmission fitting, to screw into the case?

I am trying to convert my hard lines going from the cooler to the transmission over to AN fittings and braided hose. Does anyone know what size the fitting that screws into the transmission case is? 5/8 X 18 or ½ X 20 or something different. This is for a 2004r BTO only knows that it is a 5/16 inverted flair.

I believe they are 1/4 NPT, BUT they are straight thread not tapered like what you would find in a hardware store. If you can look at the fitting in your transmission you can see a thin metal gasket that acts as a seal, at least my old transmission did. Check out your nearest friendly trans shop, to help you out.Or check herehttp://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/KeywordSearchCmd?storeId=10001&catalogId =10002&langId=-1&N=0&Ntt=555-110104&Ntk=all&Nty=1&D=555-110104&Ntx=mode%2Bmatchallany&Dx=mode%2B matchallany&searchTerm=555-110104 Ron B.

I am not having much luck with tech calls this week I have three different answers so far I am being told Like the previous post ¼ straight threads, ½ X 20 5/16 inverted flair and 5/8 X 18- 5/16 inverted flair. Are the cases different or something

Thank you for the link. I don’t have the transmission yet its on order from BTO. I may just order all of these fittings and surely one of them will work.
