A Crane Energizer like the one I installed works well also. Crane 272 H10 if I recall correctly. .454/.454 max lift, 216/216 duration at .050" lift, 112 degrees of lobe separation. Very snappy performance with a nice idle quality. Considered a "3/4 Race Cam" with its advertised duration of 272 degrees (270 degrees is 3/4 of 360).

Remember that the latter C3 Vettes were porkers at 1530 kilos.
Put as much aluminum on them as you can to reduce weight and that will help with performance.

I went with 62cc heads and dished pistons for 9.5:1 compression ratio. I live above 2000m in Colorado, so you don't get a lot of HP due to the altitude.Chow

looked at site ... lotsa work congrats ... do you have this motor running? ... above says 62cc ... site says 64cc Procomp. How do you like Procomp? How is intake gasket/manifold fit to ports?

Oops, 64cc, not 62. Silly me.
Engine hasn't run yet. Got it installed in the frame and now headed back to Iraq. May be a while before it runs. (2+ years?)(Will probably have leaks and headaches when I do get it fired up) . Procomp stuff is made in Australia and seems cost effective. Heads were for solid lifters so I had to take out the internal valve springs. (Using hydraulic cam)
Intake manifold/gasket/head runner was "close" but could benefit from some grinding to mate runners perfectly.
