Default Did I find a CTU engine.

I am shopping for a Vette, went to look at one today.

1975 Vette with a 400CI engine, owned for 12 years, selling to build 67 camaro

but owner has no engine info. Motor was swaped before he bought the car.

The engine casting appears to be T0814CTU.

Car didn't feel that strong, it felt more like a 163HP engine.

anyways... just curious what engine is in that car.

If you are referring to a 70 LT-1, then no. All CTU engines for 70 LT-1s were produced in Flint and should read something like V0205CTU (V=Flint). Also, LT-1 was a 350 not 400. Engine suffix codes were sometimes used for different engines during different years.
