Default coolant temp sensor

Allright previous motor had the sensor in passenger head.It is a mechanical autometer guage.I have dart heads now and no passage,so i installed guage in the passenger rear port on intake. My problem is i let the engine run for 15 minutes and then drove around -temp guage didnt move.I felt the guage and hoses dont feel hot-warm though. After letting run and cracking nut loose coolant is present no air. While doing this i did notice a big diff in temp between front outlets that have plugs-(4corner water outlets in intake)and the rears.I have the sensor in the rear one.Anybody notice this or were do you have you sensor mounted-mechanical guage.

All right never mind moved sensor to the front outlet in manifold-idles at 190-and with fan on 180 for an hour.FIXED now lets cruise.

you need to get a different thermostat housing, one with the port in it. Summit has several of them
