Default '70 Radiator Support Lower Baffle ?

Well evidently I don't have one...

Got a new radiator support installed yesterday and tonight was preping to install a new Dewitt's w/ twin SPALs and I was looking thru a ZIP parts catalog and there was a diagram for a 68-70 radiator support seals setup and it shows 2 seals and this lower baffle. It appears to fit below the radiator and extends back toward the engine and looks like it was only on 68 to 70. I've read tons of threads about the importance of all of the seals being in place to direct the airflow thru the radiator, but in this case it looks like it would only force the air coming thru the radiator back to the engine. The catalog had the seals for sale but not the baffle.

By chance was this lower baffle only used on small blocks? (I have a BB)

Do you need the lower baffle and seals to keep from overheating?

Has anybody got a photo of this installed?

If I need it, do you know where I can get one?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Metal lower baffle used with the metal shroud /aluminum radiator, expansion tank on small blocks. The AIM doesn't show the piece.

Dennis,
Thanks for the confirmation! I checked the AIM after I had hastily typed my post last night and I have to agree with you.
