I ALLWAYS check local availability for anything before send off for it.....
be real surprised what local stores carry for C3 vettes....
Hell even for my '87, the steering rack was stocked 4 deep by local parts house...4 of them, for vettes!!!!.....it did tell me something though....

hey JR do you have a part # and brand???
i took the washer pump jar and the motor off the vette to change out some parts down there (alarm and stuff) and someone tossed it in the garbage!!!

I agree check locally for parts I got original spec springs for the front for 75 bucks Canadian pesos.
Then I chopped 'em :D
