I purchased a one man bleeding kit from auto zone.$4.95. Disconnected the brake lines (pile of rages under it). Hooked up the hoses to the MC. pumped 4-5 times and it was bled. Did the same for each caliper. will have to do again before she goes back on the road.

I had two people. the kit I bought has rubber/plastic inserts you put in where your brake lines come out. and a bottle with a magnet. so you can see everything that is going on. It was well worth the $5.00.

I bled my new MC for the 1978 in the kitchen sink (don't tell my wife ;))
I bled the MC in the car for the 1972, it was no problem and took about the same amount of time as out of the car. I did it by myself. Took the cover off the MC, and GENTLY pressed the brake pedal with my right foot while standing with the door open and window down so I could see into the MC. Fill the MC as the fluid displaces air. Put a couple towels over the fender if you have a lead foot. Took me about 10 minutes until I was totally clear of all air bubbles. I had to drain the entire brake system when converting from DOT5 to DOT3, so there was plenty of air in the MC and proportioning valve.
