turbo 400's had an electric switch on the gas pedal for kickdown, the same switch controls the air door for the cowl induction setups. The TH350 has a cable I believe. I don't know which transmission the 75 used though.
as it turns out I have a turbo 400.
looked under the gas pedal and found a switch for the action which in turn goes to the unit on the left side of the trans.
Here is my question....looked at the electrical schematics and cant find a fuse for it.
Just adjusted mine on my350.Detent cable is hooked to carb.there is a lock piece on the cable where it hooks on the bracket on the manifold. The AIM tells how to do the adjust.
Confirmed I have a turbo 400.
Checked all the fuses and all is good.
Took the switch off of the pedal, cleaned and checked it.
Removed the plug connection on the trans and cleaned it as well.
Now I have intermittent passing gear at lower speeds but still no UMPPH or pass above 50 mph.
