Hopefully you all will be able to view this. I attached a lens to my bumper yesterday at a AutoX at Salina Ks. Remember the lens is moving with the body, the wheel with the suspension and the tire with load. I have 1 1/4 neg camber in the rear.
Not FTD, second, David Green in his 04 Z06 beat me by about .6 seconds. He was the second fastest Z06 in Super stock at National Championships last year.
Cool stuff. Although the video would stop every 15 seconds or so. Did anyone else have that happen to them? I didn't have sound either. Was there sound?
How is your tire ware? When ever I exceed .75 neg degree front or rear I just burn up the inside. This last race day I almost had the perfect air pressure and settings all the way around and my sticker tires were nearly perfect on depth ware
Hoosier R6's with the factory heat cycle
What kind of steering do you have? I'm still on stock 79 steering box (rebuilt about 3 years ago) all new Moog ball joints and steering ends
I never would have thought there was that much tyre wall movement....
You certainly were pulling some decent g's through the twisties. I love video clips of vettes doing what they do best!

AutoXing is mostly turning so you need a lot of neg. camber to keep the outsides from wearing out. I have around 70 runs on my rear tires which is a lot for Hoosier A-6's. They have maybe 12 runs left but are loosing their stick and I need to get new ones on order. About $1,200 mounted for a set.
Auto X tires really don't need heat cycle or I haven't seen any advantage, just scrub them in.
I have 800lb front springs, 1 1/8 sway bar and single adjustabe Koni's valved for the heavier springs in the front. Everything else is stock with no more than 1,000 miles on ball joints, steering box, etc. 2 1/2 degrees neg camber with al the caster I could get. about 1/16 to 1/8 the toe out. That is all SCCA allows for Street prepared.
In checking the photos in your photobucket account it looks like you have 17 inch American Racing TTII's on your car. I tried autocrossing one time with my '79 equipped with 17inch TTII's and street tires, the wheels had so much flex that they contacted the calipers at all four corners. How do you get your wheels to survive that?

Last year I used some cheap american racing wheels and I had to use 3/8th inch spacers to clear my calipers
