235 60 15 will definately fit but will be a bit shorter than the stock F70 15 which has a diameter of 26.9 inches. The 235 60 15 is only 26.1 so it will not fill up the wheel well openings as well. Unless you have really lowered the car a 215 70 15 has the same 26.9 or the bit wider 225 70 15 which is 27.4. Just my 2-cents worth.

I am thinking of going with 17's all around and put back to stock hight.

That's what most of the people around here run, me included on my 69. But, I have heard of a few rare cases where they rub the fenders. Maybe because of various factory tolerances, or repair work.
