If you do it yourself......buy complete trailing arms.

Not sure I completely understand the question but will throw a few things in anyway.

You can do the bearings without removing the trailing arms from the car with the right tools. Just remove the halfshaft (halfshaft, strut rod, and shock must come out) then you can either bang out the spindle (after removing the nut and with the right tools) or with a good air hammer with the right tool on the end you can knock it out.

If you want to remove the Trailing Arm you can and you would already have the halfshafts, strut rods, shocks, caliper, brake line, and parking brake disconnected.

I've used Ikerds stuff and it's good stuff. So is Van Steels, so is Bairs. They all have the parts you need.

If you are going to do this job yourself you must have the right tools. There are several good documents on this forum (perhaps Stinger already sent you a copy of his document which is pretty darn good!.

If the bearing end play is not set up correctly, you will be doing the job again in a short time. It's not fun.

I would also plan to check things like the the brake pads, brake lines, parking brakes, trailing arm shims, strut rod bushings, trailing arm forward bushing, etc., while apart. I would definately use new stainless shims and bolt on the Trailing Arm if you pull it out.
