Neat idea. What about condensation on the outside of those? Will I have to worry about it dripping onto the jack? How will they keep the ice from melting too much with no insulation on the top? Does the large one fit over the battery?

I guess you could improve the product by spraying some "crazy foam" on the underside. A can of "great stuff" cost about $4. It might look like crap from the underside but probably a lot more effective. The large one is the factory set up for late 1979 through 82's. It's definately not going to replace the need a cooler on a picnic, it's just something to keep a couple cans cold. td
