Default Pump removal

I am about to remove the pollution pump and 50 pounds of assorted attachments from my 81. Other than plugging the vacumns and removing and blocking the EGR, what other problems might I run into?
My cat is gone as I have installed side pipes. Thanks...

Assuming you have a good carb tuned by a PRO, and not some rebuilt, you should have no issues, but when going that route, I think you should also replace the intake mani at minimum, along with a LARS carb....

course, IMO, nothing beats DPFI......but that's another thread....

the elimination of EGR seems to cause a tip in stumble with the off idle transferr circuit, i'ts the way it was esplained to me years ago, anyway...so your stock Qjet replacement maybe running a tad lean on tip in....nothing to do with secondary operation....

Thanks MRVette. I will most likely be sending my Qjet to Lars over the next winter and will consider a manifold at his recommendation. But for now the Qjet is operating fine. I just want to get rid of the pump and junk so I can at least see my engine.
