I just swapped the carb on my motor, now there is this really loud whine coming from i dont know where, and the motor is idleing at 2000RPM. Its a holley 750 cfm double pump, the thing is, the car REALLY moves now, but i cant get it under 2000 rpm, and that whine is scaring the crap out of me!

Is it a female carb ? That would explain the ....nevermind
You probably have a severe air leak in the carb. Hold the choke blade open and peer in and check the primary throttle butterflies down at the bottom. You need to make sure they are completely closing. It's possible something is interfering with either the butterflies themselves or the linkages. If they are completely closed when the gas pedal is not being pressed then check the edges under the carb for an air leak.

that whine is usually associated with a bad or blown gasket either at the intake, or if you have a q jet possible at the airhorn

Most probably a vacuum leak - would explain the high idle and the whine / whistle.
No info in your profile. what carb did you take off? Did you put a square base carb on a q-jet manifold? You will need an adapter plate if you did. It will have a vacuum leak without it.
I figure the only way to fix it would be to remove the damn carb and start over, new gasket, etc, fired it up, and presto! no whining! adjusted the carb a couple of times, and no high idle! happy now that i can drive it again. thanks for the help guys!
