Default Vanacor's body panels

I'm thinking of getting one of Vanacor's stinger hoods for my 80 and was wondering if anyone had used their panels and what they thought of them.

Vettasy

I purchased what I thought was going to be a "stinger style hood scoop" and it turned out to be a "stinger style hood" cut around the hood scoop. I think Merlin552 (sp) has had trouble with the fitment of his body panels. Understand, I am not bashing them, just thought it was very tacky/shady work on Vanacors behalf. My hood scoop did not fit properly and had 28 hrs. of hand molding and massaging. Having said that, I would buy from another vendor. If I am not mistaken 'most' quality panels are made by ACI and sold by the major vette vendors. I bought my front and rear fiberglass bumpers from Eckler's and they fit extremely good. My paint and body guy said they were/are some the better fitting glass bumpers he has installed. Several paint/body people will tell you that almost all fiberglass pieces will cause minor mounting problems. I guess the fiberglass molds can get scewed and cause fitment troubleshooting. Hope this helps !!!

Bought an LT-1 hood that fit well and was well made.
