Default Heater core availability

Any of you guys experiencing delays getting Summit heater cores?
I have got a whole load of about 20 items on back-order waiting for shipment being held up several weeks just waiting for supplier delivery into Summits of C3 heater core. Every time I look at expected date into Summit it moves-on a few days. Really holding me back from doing my new 489 install now

I do a lot of C3 heater cores jobs and I only use one from GM. The aftermarket ones don't fit in the holder without filing or bending the pipes. Get one from a Chevrolet dealer they cost more but save a lot of time.

I just recieved an aluminum driveline (inland empire) from summit that was backordered. I was pleasantly suprised because I got the part here when they expected to have it in thier warehouse! I have been to the Sparks Nevada store and I have nothing but good things to say about summit. Your delay is likely coming from the part manufacturer, not summit or the shipper. If you have concerns, you can call them at 1-800-230-3030 (oh man, i even have the number memorized lol).

I ordered one for my 78 from my local Chevy dealer but they weren't sure when it would arrive. Just to cover my butt, I ordered one from Pep Boys too. They both arrived at the same time - and they were IDENTICAL! All the numbers matched & Pep Boys was 25% cheaper.
