361959 is listed a 73-75 chevelle or a 73-76 passenger car or a 75-85 light duty truck 454 block

I'm pulling this eng out of a 73 Camaro parts car....Might it be the original eng???? Interesting!

No - there were no big block Camaros built in 73. Last year for the bb in Camaros was 72 & that was a 396.

Well after seperating the eng. from the trans I found cast into the R/Rear of the block the words "High Perf". On the L/Rear is a 7.
