73ls1 Body off progress
Well i started with a bare frame last sunday only have an hour or so after work and an hour before work to actually spend time on it.Every nut and bolt and part was stripped primed and painted.and anything i didnt like i bought new from zip and vette brake products.Alot of stuff i already had done,oringed calipers,adjustable strut rods,poly bushings,bilstien shocks,so that saved me alot of time and money right there.And thanks to GordonM for the manual steering bar.So for how far i got in 1 week im happy.The front end stuff is coming tuesday or so from vette brake products and then ill have a rolling chassis again.Mean while ill be painting the ls6 intake from silver pearl to electronblue and the waterpump will also be painted eb.At least the back end is down and done.Ill be doing the motor work next month after the new garage is done,cam,port heads,port throttlebody etc...

Rick thats my brake lines,i havent decided on fuel lines yet,ill be working on that next week.Im making a stainless plate to mount the fuel filter,fuel pump tommorrow.I originally had hard line most of the way then aeroquip socketless hose to connect front and back.

Very nice work Pat. That little garage would be a hindrance to most but it appears to have no way of slowing your progress. The frame looks awesome. What are you using to paint it with? I also noticed you did the same thing I did with my flanges in the half shafts and used lock washers. I have been good with those for about 6 years or so and several long runs on the interstate. This past winter I broke down and bought a set of SS French Locks to go there. I may still have them setting on the shelf next winter.
