Went to Home Depot and I bought all the Fixins for my car dolly with the exceptionof the Casters.. they wanted 12.oo the 3" ones. I went to Northern tool and got 4" swivels for 6.89 @ While I was thereI also bought a lifting hoist and engine stand. So Next week I plan to have the body off. Strip the chassis and have it sand blasted and powdercoated. While I have everything gone I plan to Epoxy the garage floor so i will have a "Hospital like atmostphere. To build the car.. Right now it looks like Tornado damage.
How you gonna lift the body off the chassis...use those big firefighters? I see you're my neighbor.
Yea At 60 we try to figure out who else can do it for us.. I plan to use slings. Yes we are Neighbors.. WE moved down here after I retired. Trying to get use to the simple life. Damn I miss Long Island . It's hard having a 45 yr network of parts, services and friends , And try to restart from scratch..
