Transmission id

I can't figure out my transmission. I have not cleaned it up completely yet but here are the numbers discovered so far:

P0921 September 21st? But I think this format is for 63 through 66, my car is a 68, BUT the date sure is about right as my car was built 10/04/67, so I don't know.

3885010 I think this means 65 through 67
3831707
3857584
S102301 I think this is the serial number. Should this relate to my engine serial number?

Other than that I don't know what they mean. My tank sticker says it should be a M21.

S102301 doesn't match my VIN, and I think it is for a 66 car as it fits between the serial number range of 66 production. That stinks, I had high hopes that the trans was matching.
