So now it's me that needs help......
I hope what goes around comes around. I've helped a few forum members in the past when needed and even let guys bring their problem childs to the house so they could use my lift. I guess now it's my turn to ask for a favor.
About 2 months ago I lost all power to my brake lights, headlights and dash lights. I'm done trying to figure this thing out so I'm wondering if there are any electrical gurus that live close (middle Georgia) that would be willing to come give me a hand. I really would like to drive this thing.

I'm sure you already checked it but....... did you carefully check all the grounds? you know that probably 80% of electrical issues on these cars is the ground.
sorry, other than that obvious place to start I'd be clueless

This is a stretch, but here's waht happened to me.
I was driving out in the country in NC, 10:00pm or so with no moon. Roads are 2 lane with no bail out. It was friggin dark, so I tapped the high beam button....damn, the headlights and interior lights went out..scared the sheet outta me. Hit the high beam button again and everything came back.
Turns out that the wiring was bad for the headlights/high beam. Fixed the wiring and it hasn't happened again.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. I've had a couple of PM's offering help which is exactly what I'm needing. Hopefully you guys can steer me in the right direction before we get that far.
So far I've only checked the grounds at the radiator support. I don't have an AIM manual so I don't know where all the grounds are.
Excuse my ignorance, but I don't know what the fuseable link looks like - much less where it is.
I should have mentioned that the car starts and runs fine.

Fuse links are also smaller wires than the ones they are tied to and are terminated by larger plastic tubes/terminators. They are about 2-3 inches long, colored differenent from the wire they are in line with, and if "blown", may be burnt/black/charcoal. One is by the horn relay, one by the starter, and a couple used for the ammeter, they are orange (for a '69) and are by the horn relay and close to the wiper.

Speaking of fusible links here are 2 pics of a link that is in the "middle" of a wire.In other words this link has the black pastic crimp connectors on each end. This link has been getting hot but is not burned in two.First pic shows with black plastic in place and the second with only the black plastic removed to show the crimp connectors. The fusible link wire is in between the 2 crimped connections.Hope this helps.

Here is a pic of a 69-this one has 2 fusible links at the horn relay. From the horn relay follow the orange and or black wires down(2 wires left side of pic) about 4" to a piece of round black plastic about 1/2" x 1".Some think the round black plastic "is" the fusible link but it is not.Inside the black plastic is a crimp connector. So the fusible link is the piece wire between the black plastic and the horn relay.Grab hold of the black plastic and pull it down and away from the horn relay trying to stretch the orange or black wire-if the wire will stretch the fusible link is bad.(Sperkins I think you'll find the black wire next to the orange in your case will stretch.)

Thanks,
Pete
Well figure this. I pulled the dimmer switch from my '73 Olds and popped it in the Vette and now I have headlights (low and high beams). But I still have no dash lights, tail lights or brake lights. What the hell?!

Did these all go at once?? I’m at work right now but when I get home I can look at the wiring diagram and see if I can find a common area. Possibly a ground or the switch. To me the switch would be the place to look because everything does turn on from there.
Edit>> I guess the break lights dont go through the switch.....I will check the diagram in the morning.
