My '75 has a ZZZ Crate Engine (first generation of the ZZ4), stock exhaust manifolds, duel 2.5" flowmasters (that come from the catalytic converter  ), Holley 650CFM carb, Moroso Blue Max Plug Wires, ZZZ distributor, Accel Rotor and Coil. Everything on the ZZZ is stock and the timing is precisely tuned with the guidance of Lars.
Within the next week, I am having the catalytic converter removed and going to true 2.5" duels to the flowmaster. But what next? I want some more fun! Suggestions please?

I'm not sure what kind of cam the ZZ4 has...but I would get a larger cam (more duration & lift). Get rid of the catalytic converter! Those exhaust manifolds are also killing your performance, you need full length headers to allow the engine to breath properly. A bigger carburetor (750cfm) couldn't hurt either. Then again it's easier for me to spend YOUR money for you :) All in all your next upgrade should be headers before anything else.

if you have to run cats to be legal, then Random Tech are hi-flow and not restrictive. I use on mine, and it is a big difference, and legal where I am. Good luck

-dynomax ceramic coated headers...cheap and good. $210 from jegs. i love em.
-if you do put on headers do a cross-over since your redoing to duals....I just redid mine and I love the results.
-check out that carb...jump to 750 with electric choke. um...what intake are you running under there ?
-next cam its a little bigger job but well worth it.
a few pointers...take em or leave em...hehe.
my web page has what I just did to mine to boost its power.

Dynomax Ceramacoated Headers!! Got 'em on my '72 and they really woke up my car. Sounds really cool now too. But get the aluminum "dead soft" gaskets for both ends of the header (tubes and collector), I have had no leaks since my original install. Big bonus---the headers look almost like chrome!
