78 Wiper Problem Need Help
78 Vette wipers with delay the problem is when you turn them on they either go very slow or they stop. The car has a new wiper motor. I can also hear the relay clicking in the console. It seems if I wiggle the **** on switch they will run. I have no high speed or delay?
Is problem in the wiper switch or the delay module/relay. I had the cover off of the relay and filed the points.

I had the same problem with my 80, I purchased used a motor, switch, and the delay control relay. The first item I changed was the control delay and that solved the problem for me. It can be the switch, motor, or the controll relay. On an 80 the control relay was mounted in the jack storage compartment and was easy to get at. Was the wiper motor new ,used ,or rebuilt? If it is new you can eliminate that.

Any chance you have the old module? I've been looking for one to repair or rebuild using solid state devices.

The motor was a rebuilt from NAPA. I think the problem is in the switch. The control relay on a 78-79 is located in the center console and is different from the 80-82.
