I E-Mailed AFR about their suggestion about heads for my 76 L82. They suggested the 180cc eliminators instead of the 195cc. But they said I needed to know what pistons were in the motor and that the L82 came with different ones? I thought that it had forged flat top pistons. Were there others?

 

Forged flat top for L82 is correct. The valve relief will be a long trough, not 4 eyebrows.

 

reliefs in these TRWs should equal about 6cc of volume if I am correct
