Rear crossmember
Ive pulled out the rear crossmember. The rubber bush/seat/mount seems ok, do these give any problem? Ive seen pictures of other cars with what seems to be an aluminium plate at this mount point, I guess this mounts the crossmember solidly to the chassis. Any advantage to this, where do I get them?
Car is street driven 70 and will have mild 540 and TKO trans.

Unless you are getting to an advanced racing set up the rubber bushings, if in good condition, should be OK. Mine are original, the rubber is hard but work and I haven't changed them. The aluminum plates you can buy from multible sites, Vetter Brakes being one of them. I have them but don't think they really give much, if any, benefit.
